This page explains what information Larkmeadow collects from visitors, how it’s used, and the choices available to you. It applies to larkmeadow.net.

Comments

When you leave a comment on this site, WordPress asks for your name, email address, and (optionally) a website URL, and stores this information along with your comment text and your IP address to help with spam detection. If you check the box to save your name, email address, and website for next time, your browser will save cookies with that information; these cookies are set to expire in just under a year. If you leave that box unchecked, those comment preference cookies are not set.

Contact Form

If you use the contact form on this site, the information you submit — your name, email address, subject line, and message — is sent to us by email so we can respond to you. We don’t use this information for any other purpose.

Cookies

Beyond the comment cookies described above, this site does not currently set cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.

Analytics and Tracking

As of the time of writing, Larkmeadow does not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking scripts. If that changes in the future, we’ll update this page to reflect it.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider generates access logs by default, including IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, and browser/user agent, and retains these for the past 30 days. Longer-term archival of these logs would require separate configuration on our part, which we have not set up.

Affiliate Links and Third-Party Sites

Some posts on this site contain affiliate links to third-party retailers. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Once you leave this site through a link, that third-party site’s own privacy policy applies to any information you provide there; we don’t control and aren’t responsible for their practices.

Embedded Content

Posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, embedded video) from other websites. Embedded content from another website behaves in the same way as if you had visited that other website directly, and that site may collect data about you, use cookies, or embed additional third-party tracking, depending on its own practices.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can choose not to leave comments or submit the contact form if you’d prefer not to share the information described above. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in how the site operates. We encourage you to check back periodically.
